These Halloween Ideas Will Scare The “Chic” Out Of Everyone!

Halloween doesn’t have to be all gore and guts, in fact, I’ve always preferred glitter and gold! Here are some ways to have a Halloween that gives a whole new meaning to “Pretty Spooky!”

DIY Pun-kins

Get it? Punkins?  Here is your opportunity to think of every Halloween pun, put it on a pumpkin, and paint in pretty colors. How could you resist? In case you need some help, let me get you started…

Hey Boo-tiful!

Eat, Drink, and be Scary.

Move, Witch! Get out Da Way!

Where My Ghouls At?

…see, the possibilities are endless!

TIP: Use this idea for a good cause and paint one of the pumpkins teal to support The Teal Pumpkin Project! The idea behind the project is to create a way for children with food allergies (who can’t eat candy), to still be able to have fun trick or treating with their friends.  People whose homes have a teal pumpkins outside means they give away non-edible treats like stickers, glow sticks, bracelets, etc. So this year paint a pun-kin teal and have treats that all kids can enjoy!

Trick or Treat Cart

Completely obsessed with this candy cart from Sugar and Charm! It’s the perfect way to decorate for a more, shall we say, sophisticated crowd at your next NoFo Halloween party. Pick out treats in a pastel palette while still incorporating all your favorite tricks like skulls and spiderwebs. Put them together on a cart, and you have the chicest candy bar on the block.

Pumpkin Table Top

Love this table setting! Makes me want to have a bunch of people over for Halloween just to cook for them. Pumpkins can make the prettiest centerpieces, and even better to elevate them by using what you have around your house (like those candlesticks that we both know you never use).  Its simple and elegant, and perfect for a pretty halloween.

TIP: You don’t need to be planning a wedding to get inspired by them. I love looking through wedding schemes to get ideas on different ways to decorate. This table setting was originally for a wedding, but just as easy enough to do on your own dining room table at an affordable price.
