Pumpkin Beer Giving Me Life For Fall!

I admittedly am not much of a beer drinker, but when it comes to pumpkin ale, I am all in!  One of the best breweries on the fork to find it, is at the Long Ireland Beer Co. in Riverhead.  Their pumpkin beer with a cinnamon sugar rim is my favorite way to cheers the fall! If you are entertaining this season, making a Pumpkin Beer Bar will be the perfect treat for your guests, and I found the cutest way to do it using pumpkins as ice buckets and sugar dishes.

What you will need:

12 Pack of Favorite Pumpkin Ale

1 Large Pumpkin (inside completely scooped out)

1 Large Bowl (to fit inside pumpkin)

2 Medium Pumpkins (insides completely scooped out)

1 Small Bowl with Water

1 Small Bowl with sugar cinnamon mixture:

1/4 cup sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. pumpkin spice

The larger pumpkin will be used as your ice bucket.  Place the larger bowl inside the pumpkin, add ice and arrange your pumpkin beers inside. Using the two medium pumpkins, place the smaller dishes inside those. Fill water inside one, and the cinnamon sugar mixture inside the other.  Guests can help themselves by taking a glass, dipping the rim of their glass into the water and then into the mixture. Pour the pumpkin ale and voila!

To complete your bar decor, use a growler as a vase! I don’t know about you, but I for some reason always seem to find one of these in my cabinets. Now I have a good use for them! I love the rusticity of this, and the way it combines something masculine with something feminine.


Finish the look off with a chalkboard sign like this one, and write out “Pumpkin Beer Bar!”
