Fork Like A Celebrity!

The North Fork over the years has gained so much popularity that even the rich and famous have started to migrate over from the Hamptons to enjoy the a little of the NOFO life. If you are looking to experience the North Fork like the stars do, then check out these places so you can fork like a celebrity too!

Claudios in Greenport is considered a treasure among North Forkers, as the oldest single-family run restaurant in the country. Last week, the restaurant made headlines when Aaron Paul, or as I still (and forever) will call him “Jesse Pinkman,” surprised all the locals when he was there filming for his new Hulu series ‘The Path.’

Having celebrities stop by is not the only reason to try and get here, and fast. The owners, after 146 years, have decided to sell the restaurant and the deal is rumored to go through as early as this Fall.

North Fork Roasting Co. had a surprise this summer when Rachel Bilson and Hayden Christensen stopped by while they were on vaca in Southold. They loved the place so much they came back every morning for 6 days in a row.  Rachel Instagrammed to her followers that the NoFo RoCo was the “best breakfast” and “best coffee” she has ever had!

Jerry and the Mermaids in Riverhead had quite the star studded birthday party a few years ago when Lady GaGa and Cameron Diaz came by to celebrate Kate Upton’ s birthday.  The ladies were on the east end filming a movie at the time, and chose this waterfront seafood restaurant for the birthday dinner.

The Whiskey Wind Tower in Greenport had funny man Jimmy Fallon stop by for a drink back in 2014.  He also visited Claudio’s retaurant where he Instagrammed that he had “the best chowder.”
